OUR GLOBAL INNOVATION GUILD (or GIG, for short)
Global Subject-Matter Experts Organized To Solve The World's Most Pressing Innovation Challenges
Apply To Join The GIG

WHAT IS THE GIG?

More than another "weak-ties" Internet network, the GIG is an invitation-based powerful showcase of business professionals who not only seek game-changing opportunities, but agree to focus their expertise to solve the world's most pressing Innovation Challenges. MindForce acts as its organizer and curator. Please contact MindForce if the brief description below resonates with you and you feel you both qualify and want to make a difference in the world.

On our home page, we use the phrase "Proactive Serendipity"
"Proactive Serendipity occurs as we tap our global business network to assemble Venture Teams, Licensing Teams or IP SME Evaluation Teams, as appropriate for our client's need. These formed teams share their experiences to identify problems that can be solved by our client's IP, and by looking at the IP world through a business perspective, informed by science."
The GIG is forming in 2010 and will be the central lifeline for creating this Proactive Serendipity. It is what will happen when you get together and/or send opt-in emails to diverse, exceptional business professionals together around the world focused on technology IP, new ventures, deals and opportunities.

Starting this Summer, the GIG will be a catalyst to GENERATE WEALTH for those who agree to contribute their time, energy and valuable market and industry insights, especially on new technologies and new ventures focused on the 14 global Innovation Challenges listed below. We also believe being part of this global, closed-end brain trust of exceptional people will also offer participants far more meaningful opportunities to meet each other, rather than being on mass-oriented social networking sites like LinkedIn.

EXCEPTIONAL PROFESIONALS ONLY INVITED

We look for socially-conscious Members who want to hit "home runs" and who understand the risk/rewards of getting involved in early stage ventures and licensing projects, and see value in being part of a global "doer" social network.

We seek these "doers" and not their followers. We look for serious, entrepreneurial-focused executives and managers who truly "get it about being involved," see the value of adding their expertise to make a difference, and who possess the attitude that when you provide knowledge to the community, the community one day rewards you:

  • Understand patents
  • How to build companies from patents
  • Have licensed patents
  • Have access to companies who seek to license technological innovations

  • PAYING ANNUAL DUES (for members who join starting November 1, 2010)

Until October 31st, we will be inviting a select number of members from MBA GlobalNet, our sister company, who fit the above criteria to become inaugural members. These members will pay a reduced fee for the first five years (and possibly no fee through 2011) based on their agreed-upon role within the GIG as we are seeking volunteer local-area and SME-area GIG leaders who will have defined responsibilities. We are also open to offer the same to those of you who contact us directly.

Starting November 1, new GIG members will be asked to pay an annual fee of $500 for 2011, which will include 2010. The annual fee for GIG members who join starting in 2011 will be higher. Yes, this is not inexpensive, and definitely not for those who want everything for free.

In general consumer terms and from observed behaviors, we strongly believe this axiom: "A person who pays for a product or service on the web commits to getting full value and will participate. This member will view emails, will make introductions, and will respond to inquiries - be engaged."

We want to eliminate as much of the 80% of the 80/20 rule as possible. We only want GIG Members who want to be involved and charging an annual fee is a great filter.

Finally, we will have a profit-sharing program in place for all GIG participants. Contact us | View site map
